getting the best of me

I’m the king of my castle. I close my eyes, count to ten, and then my life appears to be tolerable, somehow.

I paint my life black or white,

Look, it’s difficult to describe.

Pile of words, little time.

How do we wane?

One smile, one frown

and tomorrow we’re gone.

Shake hands, wave good-bye

our life full of lie.
